TGG Market Forecast 9/12: | We’re Back + Fall Is Moving In 🍎🍂

Saturday, September 12, 2026
We took Labor Day weekend off from the market... but apparently forgot to take the labor part off. 😂
While the Market was closed, the kitchen, garden and farm were definitely not.
There were apples and pears everywhere. Tomatoes taking over the counters. Peppers in the dehydrator. Jars in various stages of filling. Freezer space disappearing by the day. And somehow, in the middle of all of that, the zucchini decided September was finally its time to shine.
So after a little break, TGG Market is BACK this Saturday, September 12 from 10 AM–1 PM, and we’re bringing a whole lot of late-summer harvest with a definite hint of fall.
🌤️This Week’s Forecast
100% chance of harvest
Expect:
🍅 Garden goodies still hanging onto summer
🍎 LOTS of apple + pear goodness
🎃 The first pumpkin baked goods of the season
🫙 New preserves + returning favorites
🌿 Seasonings and tomato salt restocked
🍂 Brand-new fall simmer pots
🐐 And, of course, goats
Basically, September showed up and said, “You thought you were slowing down?”
Cute.
We’ll also have plenty of small-batch preserves, TGG seasonings, luffa soaps, simmer pot kits and other farm-made finds inside the market.
🎃 And Then There Are the Baked Goods...

It’s September.
Therefore, according to very official farm market law, pumpkin everything may begin.
This Saturday’s gluten-free bakery lineup will include:
🎃 Pumpkin Cookies
🍞 Pumpkin Bread
🥒 Zucchini Bread
Yes, the zucchini bread is officially happening because past-Stacey had the good sense to freeze zucchini while present-Stacey was busy canning 47 other things.
There may be limited quantities, so earlier is always better if you have your eye on something!
🍅 Fresh from the Garden
The garden is still very much doing its own thing around here.
Tomatoes are continuing to come in, including our little cherry varieties along with larger slicing and sauce tomatoes. We’re still picking plenty of bell peppers and hot banana peppers, cucamelons are hanging around, and the late zucchini planting that I honestly wasn’t sure would do much has decided to surprise us.
We should have a mix of fresh produce available Saturday including:
Tomatoes
Peppers
Zucchini
Cucamelons
And whatever else decides it’s ready between now and Saturday morning
That last one is basically the official TGG gardening philosophy at this point. 😂
Our Taste of TGG Garden Boxes will depend on what the garden gives us, so quantities will be limited.
🍎 Meanwhile... the Orchard Went a Little Overboard
Apples and pears have been the real stars around here lately.
And by “stars,” I mean there have been well over 100 pounds of each making their way through the house, kitchen, freezer and canner.
So naturally, we’ve been turning them into just about everything we can think of.
This weekend’s preserve lineup will include:
🍐 Salted Caramel Pear Butter
🍎 Salted Caramel Apple Butter
🍏 Spiced Apple Pear Jam
🍎 Apple Pear Preserves
There is also raspberry jam coming... eventually. 😂
I’m picking raspberries every day and freezing them as I go, but the plants and I have apparently entered into negotiations over what qualifies as “enough berries to make a batch.”
I refuse to admit defeat.
So Raspberry Jam is coming later, once I’ve collected enough berries to make it worth firing up the canner.
🍂 NEW: Fall Simmer Pots

The house has smelled ridiculously good while putting these together.
Our new fall simmer pot blends will make their Market debut Saturday, packaged in reusable Ball jars and ready to toss into a pot of water for an easy little dose of fall.
We’ll have four blends:
🍎 Apple Orchard
🍊 Harvest Orange Spice
🌿 Farmhouse Fall
🌾 Golden Harvest
They’re filled with combinations of dried apples, oranges, lemons, herbs and warm fall spices from ingredients we’ve grown, dried or collected throughout the season.
No artificial pumpkin-cinnamon-candle explosion required. 😉
Planning a Fall Gathering?

As we head into fall, our calendar is already starting to fill with private gatherings, small celebrations and group experiences.
If you’ve been thinking about a birthday party, girls’ afternoon, team gathering or another fall get-together, now is the time to start planning.
The market can seat up to 25 people inside, with room to expand outdoors, and your gathering can be customized with goats, crafts, food or other TGG add-ons.
Send us a message and let’s create something that fits your group!
